BODY OF SENIOR ADVOCATES OF NIGERIA BACKS MAHMOUD FOR CALL ON ARRESTED JUDGES TO RECUSE


The Body of Senior Advocates of Nigeria has thrown it's weight behind the call by the NBA President on the Arrested judges to proceed on leave of absence pending when they are given a clean bill of heath.The Body met in Lagos today to endorse every action taken by the NBA President Abubakar Balarabe Mahmud SAN so far on the unfortunate incident.

The meeting was attended by the Honourable Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice as well as  the NBA President. Also in attendance was JK GADZAMA,SAN who met with Mahmoud for the first time since the later assumed office as the 28th President of the Nigerian Bar Association. The Body reiterated it's support for the NBA in its efforts to fight corruption in the Judiciary.
